The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.

Alvin Toffler

I care deeply about my work. I care about how I work, why I work, where I work, and with whom I work.

I select projects that enable me to learn and grow. I believe I can contribute the most impact through a portfolio career as it removes incentive-caused bias, and allows me to apply my learned and lived experiences across my work. My work is honest (at times uncomfortably so) and I build trust along the way in the relationships I forge.

Question deeply

I collaborate closely with clients and act as a critical friend. Where necessary this may include challenging the status quo or group think, playing devil's advocate, and developing comfort around the uncomfortable.

Systems leadership

I apply a systems lens to evaluating problems. By building trusted networks, I encourage clients to consider the ripple effects and unintended consequences of their decisions. This allows us to explore new collaborations and think long-term. I am a node across diverse communities. I belong to intimate collectives such as The Point People and We are Liminal, and broader networks, such as the RSA Fellowship and INSEAD / LSE Alumni groups.

PRINCIPLES

Learning through play

As a Lego Serious Play facilitator, I am a strong advocate for Lego's playful learning philosophy. I design workshops to be emotive, participatory, uncomfortable at times, and most importantly, fun.

Connect the dots of opportunity

I recognise patterns across my work, and curate meaningful connections between people, ideas and opportunities.

People-first

I work to help clients recognise talent as their most valuable asset. While many firms focus on external branding, I instead lead workshops to help clients consider their internal brand and culture to build loyalty and integrity from within.
